Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmund Schoettle took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Fulko Schwaderer made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Kristian Willem Neuling made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Kristian Willem Neuling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulko Schwaderer in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Fulko Schwaderer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 37th match minute, Tiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulko Schwaderer to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristian Willem Neuling was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fulko Schwaderer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Tiger's Bruno Mätz was substituted for Hartmut Weidenhammer. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Tiger's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Kristian Willem Neuling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 60th minute of play forced Tiger's goalkeeper Kristian Willem Neuling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiger's Kristian Willem Neuling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Willem Neuling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Willem Neuling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustín Saelices scored 2-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristian Willem Neuling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kristian Willem Neuling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 78th minute of the match. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristian Willem Neuling. Kristian Willem Neuling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Tiger's Kristian Willem Neuling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of play. Kristian Willem Neuling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ken Raus. There was no doubt that Ecuador were the better team. Ecuador's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
