Moises Fernandino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Agro Imortal's goalkeeper Roger Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Fernandino. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joshua Curbelo got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Abram Luque. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Pedro Montenegro was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Agro Imortal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. Abram Luque might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abram Luque ran back to his position shaking his head. Abram Luque scored 4-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Silva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Agro Imortal's Amauri Lago got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 64th match minute, Agro Imortal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pedro Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Montenegro came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaldo Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Amauri Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moises Fernandino in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. El Salvador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
