Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateo Phelipe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Mateo Phelipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Mateo Phelipe in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 11 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, MIRA -ŁÓDZ's Mateo Phelipe got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mateo Phelipe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute. Leonard Brack recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Phelipe having to interfere. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateo Phelipe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Mateo Phelipe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. With his leg Mateo Phelipe managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cezary Jajecznica stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Plech, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Cezary Jajecznica put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. The supporters of Ecuador booed when MIRA -ŁÓDZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbigniew Wielopolski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Jajecznica in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of MIRA -ŁÓDZ's Mateo Phelipe. Mateo Phelipe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Zbyszko Plech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cezary Jajecznica in the 84th minute. Leonard Brack charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Brack the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leonard Brack hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match.
