After 20 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Harvey Doyle. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Maximiliano Petrigai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Eli in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Eli in the 26th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Stanley Wallace got a free kick in the 27th minute. Celestino Eli scored 0-5 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Eli in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. Curacao's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 63 minutes of play, HFA FC's Celestino Eli made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Maximiliano Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th minute, Celestino Eli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celestino Eli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Barrett having to make a save. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Celestino Eli tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Eli in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. If Celestino Eli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Eli in the 81st minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Petrigai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Celestino Eli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Celestino Eli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celestino Eli was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when C.J. De la Sotta sent off a good shot on target. Celestino Eli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Eli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by C.J. De la Sotta in the 97th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. HFA FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
