The supporters of JUNICO Ełk booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. If Rikard Træden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute Rikard Træden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rikard Træden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to JUNICO Ełk getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Vladimiro Theobald hit a great ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harri Kaine in the 85th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harri Kaine in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, JUNICO Ełk's Zachariasz Damaski got a free kick in the 90th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harri Kaine in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than JUNICO Ełk.
