Finlay Stair in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Júlio Soares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jarell Hill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Finlay Stair hit a great ball. The supporters of Breguete FC booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romon Oliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luizão Cruz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Romon Oliver left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jamaica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Augusto Santos in the 35th minute of play. Adriano Leite took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Breguete FC's Vitinho Galvão was substituted for José Augusto Santos. 41 minutes into the game, Adriano Leite cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitinho Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Finlay Stair to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Adriano Leite got a very nice opportunity to score, but Demonde Jacobson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Demonde Jacobson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 55th match minute, Breguete FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Silveira to maneuver through the defense. If Kordal Duff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th match minute, Breguete FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Karlus Waugh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Soares having to interfere. Finlay Stair recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armandinho Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Jamaica were awarded a corner. Finlay Stair went to the cornerflag to take it. 71 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karlus Waugh came free, but Júlio Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them.
