In the 6th minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 9thth minute of the game Harri Kaine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Konstanty Kilarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konstanty Kilarski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 18th minute of play forced JUNICO Ełk's goalkeeper Konstanty Kilarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, JUNICO Ełk's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Konstanty Kilarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Hajduk came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Radomir Zieba who took care of the corner kick. Daniele Giardini's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniele Giardini helped the player get up and apologised. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harri Kaine, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Konstanty Kilarski made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krzysztof Hajduk in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Kilarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Krzysztof Hajduk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mexico booed when JUNICO Ełk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Giardini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Vladimiro Theobald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Joel Gaona sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and JUNICO Ełk's Konstanty Kilarski didn't even have to move. 92 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of JUNICO Ełk's Konstanty Kilarski. Konstanty Kilarski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
