Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Brecht Govaerts started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Tim-Florian Ramusch fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Fenerbahce Wien's protests and gave Tim-Florian Ramusch a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes SK Fenerbahce Wien got a freekick which was hit by Tim-Florian Ramusch. After 7 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chris Draxl was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vasyl Gladiy, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chris Draxl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, SK Fenerbahce Wien's Stefan Krause got a free kick in the 18th minute. Chris Draxl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Lundberg's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Brecht Govaerts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Tim-Florian Ramusch sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brecht Govaerts. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Venezuela's attentive Jose Correa managed to snatch the ball when Stefan Krause made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefan Krause during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 63 minutes into the match, SK Fenerbahce Wien's goalkeeper Chris Draxl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Chris Draxl. That made the score 0-2 in the 66 minute of play. When Stefan Krause was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. The supporters of Venezuela booed when SK Fenerbahce Wien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Krause didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tim-Florian Ramusch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78thth minute of the game Brecht Govaerts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 80 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. SK Fenerbahce Wien's Chris Draxl tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SK Fenerbahce Wien's Erik Lundberg got a free kick in the 85th minute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Chris Draxl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Vasyl Gladiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Venezuela walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
