Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Faro querandi's Silverio Calvet started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silverio Calvet struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Faro querandi. After having played for 11 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Escribano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Gisbert took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roque Gabon. Roque Gabon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Silverio Calvet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match Faro querandi got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafin Eufemio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Faro querandi's Nahuel Molina to fire away a dangerous shot which Joaquin Gayoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Roque Gabon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Igor Pandilovski could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Joaquin Gayoso however easily saved by the left post. In the 32nd minute Faro querandi were awarded a corner. Serafin Eufemio went to the cornerflag to take it. Silverio Calvet made a great header on Faro querandi's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso managed to reach the ball for a save. Silverio Calvet in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silverio Calvet went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 41st minute, Alberto Gisbert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Calvet came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Gabon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Arnoldo Neron fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Faro querandi's protests and gave Arnoldo Neron a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Arnoldo Neron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Roque Gabon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 63rd minute Silverio Calvet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Calvet in the 64th minute of the match. Roque Gabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Uruguay were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Faro querandi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Cazalla took the corner. Francisco Seco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 75th playminute. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Gabon having to interfere. Silverio Calvet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Faro querandi's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Gabon came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roque Gabon, 1-3.
