Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Hungary's Tivadar Demeter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cankut Wakabayashi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tivadar Demeter, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turgut Soyuer in the 5th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Turkey's Turgut Soyuer in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. Cankut Wakabayashi made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Tibor Horváth sent off a good shot on target. Arnold Szuper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Soyuer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute of the match Turkey got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Servet Sönmez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tivadar Demeter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cankut Wakabayashi having to make a save. Cankut Wakabayashi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tivadar Demeter in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Tibor Horváth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Balázs Sass got a throw-in 41 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lajos Szatmári. Cankut Wakabayashi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lajos Szatmári, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Hungary's Arnold Szuper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turgut Soyuer in the 45th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Turkey's Turgut Soyuer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnold Szuper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Hungary players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Turkey were winning 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Turgut Soyuer to make the kick off. Cankut Wakabayashi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ákos Auer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Turgut Soyuer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Turkey fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Hungary made a substitution. László Gácsi replaced Tivadar Demeter. Hungary's Csongor Tálas was substituted for Tibor Horváth. 69 minutes into the match, Turkey's goal looked a bit too open when Csongor Tálas came free, but Cankut Wakabayashi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ákos Auer kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Turkey made a substitution. Zé Dos Reis replaced Turgut Soyuer. Turkey's Cuma Oruk was substituted for Arjen Robben. Turkey's Aydın Tor was substituted for Gürhan Sarıoğlu. Ákos Auer hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Zé Dos Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Arnold Szuper made a huge save. Arnold Szuper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Dos Reis in the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Áron Bódog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Áron Bódog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hungary's Arnold Szuper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Dos Reis in the 84th minute of play. Turkey's Arman Ersan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Balázs Sass, made in the 86th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Dos Reis in the 89th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Áron Bódog in the 91st minute of play forced Turkey's goalkeeper Cankut Wakabayashi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barnabás Takács's late challenge caught a Turkey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barnabás Takács helped the player get up and apologised. 94 minutes into the game, one of Hungary:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hungary:s Arnold Szuper showed great skill when he stopped Aydın Tor:s penalty. Csongor Tálas took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cankut Wakabayashi. Cankut Wakabayashi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Turkey had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
