In the 24th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Chile's Pedro Indiano getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Bartosz Ziemniak in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Fernan Ler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. Fractal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chile's Francisco Carballar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bartosz Ziemniak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fractal FC's Ramiro Montae was substituted for Cipriano Misael. The supporters of Chile booed when Fractal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Dayam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Casaus's late challenge caught a Fractal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Fractal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Bartosz Ziemniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartosz Ziemniak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fractal FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chile.
