Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Nerio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Vihar Karadochev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vihar Karadochev quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vihar Karadochev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Clemen Team AFC★C.A.B.J★'s Alvaro Nerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Clemen Team AFC★C.A.B.J★'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Vihar Karadochev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute Clemen Team AFC★C.A.B.J★ were awarded a corner. Cleto Ikatz went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 25th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vihar Karadochev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vihar Karadochev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvaro Nerio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Alvaro Nerio slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 35th minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Clemen Team AFC★C.A.B.J★'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Nerio in the 45th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. 73 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vihar Karadochev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Clemen Team AFC★C.A.B.J★'s Vihar Karadochev got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvaro Nerio might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Nerio ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Nerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vihar Karadochev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Clemen Team AFC★C.A.B.J★ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
