Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, FC Soldeu's goalkeeper Alf Ploughman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Alf Ploughman was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Francisco Seco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francisco Seco really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Alf Ploughman made a huge save. Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alf Ploughman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Francisco Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alf Ploughman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Alf Ploughman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damien Fowler in the 17th minute of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Damien Fowler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 19 minutes, John Glanvill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Soldeu and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. John Glanvill kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Alf Ploughman made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. Uruguay were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after FC Soldeu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Cazalla took the corner. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alf Ploughman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 26th minute of the match, Francisco Seco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alf Ploughman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 27th minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. FC Soldeu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alberto Gisbert got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alf Ploughman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Soldeu's goalkeeper Alf Ploughman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Soldeu's Alf Ploughman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 34th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damien Fowler went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Benjamin Blakeley got a throw-in 47 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ian Lomas.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damien Fowler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Ploughman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Damien Fowler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when FC Soldeu's Damien Fowler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damien Fowler in the 65th minute. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darren Blewitt in the 67th minute of the match. Maximiliano Escribano charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Escribano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Soldeu booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damien Fowler got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Darren Blewitt kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 79 played minutes FC Soldeu got a freekick which was hit by Gary Delaney. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tod Simpson made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Benjamin Blakeley. In the 95th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Ploughman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC Soldeu players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
