Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sheldon Cooper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the game, Sheldon Cooper recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Sheldon Cooper showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Isidoro Thomas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sheep United's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Thomas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Isidoro Thomas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 20th minute, Sheep United's Isidoro Thomas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoro Thomas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Sheldon Cooper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Sheldon Cooper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Sheep United booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 9-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Isidoro Thomas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Isidoro Thomas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sheldon Cooper went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 15-0 was the resulting score. Sheep United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
