Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Harry Boumans sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Erik Åhlberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 26th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Runa United got a freekick which was hit by Joel Andreasson. Nils-Erik Åhlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 33rd minute of the match. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Almstedt in the 37th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Runa United's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Åhlberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils-Erik Åhlberg. Runa United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Louis Melin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Runa United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis Melin to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Runa United's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Runa United's Sivert Rönn was substituted for Jörgen Lundström. A collision led to Runa United getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tommy Ekgren hit a great ball. Macos Graciani hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Macos Graciani made in the 61st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Joel Gaona. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Nils-Erik Åhlberg threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lautaro Mancebo in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nils-Erik Åhlberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tage Deckbergh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mexico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
