Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes in the game, Venko Petrov fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Dimitar Vetzov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 15th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venko Petrov, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Venko Petrov in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, Venko Petrov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Camilo Gaos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Ivan Toromanov's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 38 played minutes FC Bansko got a freekick which was hit by Allan Magnusson. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Bansko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Magnusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venko Petrov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venko Petrov struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bansko. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 47th minute. 49 minutes in the game Ivan Toromanov got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Venko Petrov made the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paun Atkov in the 54th minute of play. After 57 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ivan Toromanov who took care of the corner kick. Allan Magnusson made in the 64th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Paun Atkov immediately put the ball in play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venko Petrov in the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Venko Petrov notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Bansko's Avgustin Lúskov was substituted for Arso Palahanov. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Venko Petrov went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Venko Petrov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stiliyan Tachkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Venko Petrov came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the FC Bansko fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venko Petrov couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Bansko had played much better football throughout.
