Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Bansko's goalkeeper Dimitar Vetzov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 3 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimitar Vetzov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dimitar Vetzov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paun Atkov got free with Julio Vera in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Venko Petrov's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitar Vetzov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Bansko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hristiyan Karaleev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimitar Vetzov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dimitar Vetzov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venko Petrov in the 31st minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dimitar Vetzov. FC Bansko's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Venko Petrov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 45th minute of play forced FC Bansko's goalkeeper Dimitar Vetzov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimitar Vetzov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimitar Vetzov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venko Petrov to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute of the match Ivan Toromanov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the match, FC Bansko's goalkeeper Dimitar Vetzov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paun Atkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes FC Bansko got a freekick which was hit by Toma Matkov. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dimitar Vetzov saved FC Bansko from getting behind. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venko Petrov in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, FC Bansko's goalkeeper Dimitar Vetzov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. With a little luck, FC Bansko's Dimitar Vetzov got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Dimitar Vetzov in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venko Petrov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paun Atkov in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitar Vetzov having to interfere. FC Bansko's Stiliyan Tachkov was substituted for Ivan Toromanov. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! An unexpectedly hard shot by Paun Atkov in the 99th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Bansko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stiliyan Tachkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador played a much better game than FC Bansko and deserved their victory. The FC Bansko players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
