The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. Dino Roberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 20th minute. With his leg Dino Roberto managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 43 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Zabal Villanueva came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 76thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villadeatese FC's Dino Roberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
