Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shota Stopa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 15 minutes, Wart Goegebeur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pezerik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wart Goegebeur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavian Rutgeerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 23 minutes, Francisco Carballar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chile and the Pezerik players grew even worse after the yellow card. Francisco Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Wart Goegebeur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a rather tough play, Chile's Alan Tamayo got a free kick in the 30th minute. The Pezerik fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Pezerik's Gustaaf Van Dyck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shota Stopa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wart Goegebeur in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Shota Stopa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Wart Goegebeur tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Octavian Rutgeerts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Van Dyck, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Pezerik's goalkeeper Shota Stopa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pezerik's goalkeeper Shota Stopa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Rutgeerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Van Dyck in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Carballar. In the 66th minute of the match Henri-Xavier Pauwels shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Pliego showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Shota Stopa made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Van Dyck in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Gustaaf Van Dyck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Shota Stopa in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shota Stopa made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Pozo's late challenge caught a Pezerik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Pozo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Gerardo Pozo hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pezerik had won after a very even match.
