TaTeRo Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to TaTeRo Boys getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Luan Amorim hit a great ball. In the 8th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Carlos Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. TaTeRo Boys's Zé Carlos Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Carlos Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Carlos Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. Zé Carlos Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. A collision led to TaTeRo Boys getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Thiago Rodrigues hit a great ball. Zé Carlos Mendonça was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos Mendonça having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of TaTeRo Boys's Zé Carlos Mendonça.
