Hector Saturnin hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Martin Cordeal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, C. S. D. Pueyrredón's David Beckham Jr got a free kick in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, David Beckham Jr managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's supporters rose to their feet, but David Beckham Jr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 11th minute of play forced C. S. D. Pueyrredón's goalkeeper Martin Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantino Ermano hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after C. S. D. Pueyrredón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Martin Cordeal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 28th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Cordeal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 31st minute, Hector Saturnin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Martin Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. S. D. Pueyrredón's goalkeeper Martin Cordeal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute C. S. D. Pueyrredón were awarded a corner. Constantino Ermano went to the cornerflag to take it. Constantino Ermano made a great header on C. S. D. Pueyrredón's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teobaldo Rosario to make the kick off. 62 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Cordeal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 67th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Martin Cordeal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. C. S. D. Pueyrredón made a substitution. Roch Siekierka replaced Romulo Matia. After 69 minutes C. S. D. Pueyrredón's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Macos Graciani made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Martin Cordeal managed to reach the ball for a save. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Rosario, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Macos Graciani got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Macos Graciani. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Beckham Jr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Martin Cordeal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save C. S. D. Pueyrredón from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Halil İbrahim Yeltekin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. S. D. Pueyrredón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The C. S. D. Pueyrredón supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
