Pueyrredón's Romulo Matia got a free kick in the 27th minute. Martin Cordeal made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. After 31 minutes C. S. D. Pueyrredón's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Martin Cordeal did a great save. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Martin Cordeal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save C. S. D. Pueyrredón from getting a goal against them. In the 47th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense.

Romulo Matia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 62nd minute Romulo Matia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 69th minute of play forced C. S. D. Halil İbrahim Yeltekin ran back to his position shaking his head. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Halil İbrahim Yeltekin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
