Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jailson Batista started the match with the kick off. Gil Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gil Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 5th minute of play. When Jailson Batista came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Barcellos Mineiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jailson Batista couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Percy Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gil Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 15th minute of play. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gil Coelho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 25th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Gil Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gil Coelho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 28th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Gil Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Zorita heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 32 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Gil Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Antunes to maneuver through the defense. When Cássio Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barcellos Mineiro FC's protests and gave Cássio Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mexico booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gil Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 40th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gil Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46thth minute of the game Lautaro Mancebo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gil Coelho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Mattos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 55th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Gil Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gil Coelho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Barcellos Mineiro FC from getting a goal against them. Gil Coelho was a little too slow when Luca Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-4. Murilo Mattos hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Waka Barcellos kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Gil Coelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luca Zorita went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 76 minutes into the game, Jailson Batista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Mexico booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Joel Gaona. In the 87th minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Gil Coelho. Barcellos Mineiro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gil Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 90th minute of play. With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gil Coelho got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
