In the 7th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremie Van Nel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jeremie Van Nel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. C.F Intercity's Jeremie Van Nel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of play. Daniel Cazacu might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Cazacu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute Daniel Cazacu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute of the game Alonso Berganza made a throw-in which Moises Gayoso played forward. Jeremie Van Nel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Cazacu took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremie Van Nel having to interfere. After 42 minutes, Julian Murillo made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. C.F Intercity's Jeremie Van Nel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeremie Van Nel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, C.F Intercity's Song Xiao Li got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremie Van Nel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Cazacu made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremie Van Nel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, C.F Intercity's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Jeremie Van Nel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Brandon Stamp in the 65 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Brandon Stamp in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olivar Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 85th minute of play forced C.F Intercity's goalkeeper Jeremie Van Nel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru played a much better game than C.F Intercity and deserved their victory. The C.F Intercity players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
