In the 9th minute, Rolf Hamberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Hamberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emílio Bandeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Ogün Sarper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cassandros Elite Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Ogün Sarper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olavo Pinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Jairo Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 minutes Cassandros Elite Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Michal Bulkiewicz's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michal Bulkiewicz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cassandros Elite Team's Michal Bulkiewicz got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 38 minutes into the match, Jairo Veiga notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Rolf Hamberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. When Cassandros Elite Team's Rolf Hamberg in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolf Hamberg made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Veiga came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cassandros Elite Team's Jairo Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olavo Pinto made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Olavo Pinto made a huge save. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olavo Pinto having to make a save. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Rolf Hamberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Cassandros Elite Team booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josué Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. A hard shot by Tomas Illescas from long distance, 85 minutes into the match, got Olavo Pinto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 87th minute, Rolf Hamberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Cassandros Elite Team's Olavo Pinto got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Pedroso in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Rolf Hamberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Rolf Hamberg sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cassandros Elite Team had won after a very even match.
