Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Mitch Batshuayi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 1-0. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeki Akgüneş having to interfere. 1930 Bafraspor's Zeki Akgüneş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 9th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, 1930 Bafraspor's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Zeki Akgüneş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeki Akgüneş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barış Alpermann's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeki Akgüneş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 40th minute of the match. After some careless play in the 1930 Bafraspor defense, Luca Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeki Akgüneş. The 1930 Bafraspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeki Akgüneş should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mitch Batshuayi to make the kick off. After 78 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Luca Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zeki Akgüneş came out and tried to block the shot, but Luca Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 83rd minute. Alberto Tafalla succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-9 in the 87th playminute. Zeki Akgüneş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeki Akgüneş was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-10. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
