Dinu Cănănău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinu Cănănău didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Nurettin Ula sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Dinamite in the 26th minute of play. If Robert Dinamite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dinu Cănănău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dinu Cănănău narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Robert Dinamite hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. A collision led to UFC Veseud getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Nistor Apetroaiei hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, UFC Veseud's Nurettin Ula ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Eliodor Durbacă charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliodor Durbacă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to UFC Veseud getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Eliodor Durbacă hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Cănănău having to interfere. With a little luck, UFC Veseud's Dinu Cănănău got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. UFC Veseud's Dinu Cănănău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 68th minute of play forced UFC Veseud's goalkeeper Dinu Cănănău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinu Cănănău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 72nd minute of play. UFC Veseud's Dinu Cănănău proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save UFC Veseud from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After 78 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Hui Peng in the 79th minute of play. In the 84th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that UFC Veseud's Dinu Cănănău managed to reach the ball for a save. After 86 minutes, Felix Montes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the UFC Veseud players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 86th minute. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Yu Hui Peng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
