Rubén Urruti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sitges's Rubén Urruti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 27th minute of play. If Joshua Garrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Sitges defense, Joshua Garrido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rubén Urruti. The Sitges fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rubén Urruti should have stopped the shot. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charidimos Papandreou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubén Urruti made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the game, Ignacio Mastache cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-4. Rubén Urruti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joshua Garrido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
