Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Raphael Dantas made a huge save. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Zatorski, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Simo Mihklisaar sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Raphael Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Abram Sarmiento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Raphael Dantas. The goal made the score 1-2. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Raphael Dantas made a huge save. Axel Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Raphael Dantas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Sílvio Luiz Vieira got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Toribio, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Raphael Dantas made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Santino Seco sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Raphael Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simo Mihklisaar took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Raphael Dantas in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Toribio in the 37th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Thanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simo Mihklisaar in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Tony Thanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Kristofer Peck was substituted for Simo Mihklisaar. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Mauro Quirino was substituted for Dobromir Malewicki. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zbigniew Zatorski was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raphael Dantas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Raphael Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 58th minute of play. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raphael Dantas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. When Colombia's Axel Montenegro in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalie prevented a goal. Raphael Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 68th minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Quirino in the 70th minute of play. Colombia made a substitution. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Raphael Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Secada in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Mauro Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Sílvio Luiz Vieira made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. 94 minutes into the game, Abram Secada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Raphael Dantas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
