Zoltán Lévai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Venezuela made a substitution. Roberto Ocampo replaced Patricio Costa. In the 8th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zoltán Lévai hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Tamás Takács's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Máté Havass made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Átták's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Máté Havass reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 22 in the game by Tamás Takács from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Átták's Máté Havass played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Zoltán Lévai got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Illés Virág during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Zoltán Lévai got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Átták's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Máté Havass came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tamás Takács received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tamás Takács in the 51st minute of the match. In the 54thth minute of the game Tamás Takács who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by József Nyúl with Ákos Nagy as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Roland Iványi took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. 65 minutes into the game, Átták's Zoltán Lévai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tamás Takács went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Máté Havass. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Tamás Takács recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tamás Takács, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Roberto Ocampo charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Ocampo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Átták booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Ocampo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Zoltán Lévai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Átták's supporters rose to their feet, but Zoltán Lévai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamás Takács in the 95th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Átták players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
