After a rather tough play, FC Oberschlesien's Grigore Urducea got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 6th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Secada to maneuver through the defense. If Guillermo Mariano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. In the 22nd minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franciszek Kosiorek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of play forced FC Oberschlesien's goalkeeper Franciszek Kosiorek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Oberschlesien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evandro Tróia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 40th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Oberschlesien the free kick. The supporters of FC Oberschlesien booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Evandro Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 53rd minute Napoleon Kochanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match FC Oberschlesien got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valdir Viana ran over to the corner to take the kick. The FC Oberschlesien fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when FC Oberschlesien's Evandro Tróia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Florian Skarpiak with Evandro Tróia as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, FC Oberschlesien's Franciszek Kosiorek got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, FC Oberschlesien's Evandro Tróia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. FC Oberschlesien made a substitution. Janusz Malewicz replaced Antoni Mentus. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Franciszek Kosiorek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waclaw Radziszewski in the 85th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 95th minute shot 3-2 at rihgt post. FC Oberschlesien were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
