The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Zhang Hong Xun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Zhang Hong Xun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Tabalongo AFC's Marciano Asmussen shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tabalongo AFC made a substitution. Filip Frankowski replaced Binjamin Ketelers. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. When 邵南响 came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Tabalongo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 邵南响 couldn't finish the play. The Tabalongo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zhang Hong Xun should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Vinkens in the 62nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Zhang Hong Xun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tabalongo AFC's goalkeeper Zhang Hong Xun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Zhang Hong Xun made a huge save. Zhang Hong Xun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 68th minute of play. Tabalongo AFC's Zhang Hong Xun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Tabalongo AFC from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 邵南响 in the 78th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constancio Jaque in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tabalongo AFC's Dario Bessa got a free kick in the 81st minute. Yerko Van Dijk hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 90th match minute, Tabalongo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 邵南响 to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
