Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tristan Lannister in the 4th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Pedro Dracena in the 10th minute of play. After some careless play in the Chile defense, José Pedro Dracena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustaw Nowak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tristan Lannister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Orlando Casaus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Casaus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaw Nowak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Gustaw Nowak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy from getting a goal against them. 1-2 became the score in the 26th minute when Tristan Lannister elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 31st minute. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszek Le Bonniec in the 33rd minute of play. José Pedro Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Gustaw Nowak in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Gustaw Nowak made a huge save. A hard shot 45 in the game by Mariano Lacasa from a close distance when the talented Gustaw Nowak managed to make a qualified save. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's players were relieved. In the 48th minute, Ciccio Kowalczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 71 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zbyszek Le Bonniec's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Gustaw Nowak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustaw Nowak. The Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustaw Nowak should have stopped the shot. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 98th minute, Pedro Indiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tristan Lannister's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chile.
