Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 8 minutes into the match, U.S.Normande's Youri Borderie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mikael Damm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 14th minute of play forced U.S.Normande's goalkeeper Mikael Damm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léopold Fraval got free with Dante Lacasa in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youri Borderie in the 25th minute of the match. U.S.Normande's Mikael Damm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 30th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, U.S.Normande's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Mikael Damm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mike Constantin in the 36th minute. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikael Damm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Mike Constantin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aymerick Tourrette in the 42nd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Mike Constantin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Mike Constantin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Damm having to interfere. U.S.Normande's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Alberto Tafalla scored to the left of an out of position Mikael Damm, making the score, 0-1. In the 65th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Constantin came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léopold Fraval in the 71st minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aymerick Tourrette in the 73rd minute of play. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikael Damm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to U.S.Normande getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Joris Callens hit a great ball. Mexico played a much better game than U.S.Normande and deserved their victory. The U.S.Normande players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
