Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egun Zapico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th minute of the match Peru got a corner. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Estevão Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute Estevão Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egun Zapico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of the match. Egun Zapico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Estevão Reis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. A collision led to ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Bora Oyum hit a great ball. Anthony Alvarado kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Milagros Fraga notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Egun Zapico. Egun Zapico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Estevão Reis made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Estevão Reis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Joaquin Prats hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ made a substitution. Erkan Fişek replaced Burak Orkan. Bora Oyum made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. After 69 played minutes ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ got a freekick which was hit by Bora Oyum. 71 minutes into the match, ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goalkeeper Egun Zapico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Egun Zapico made a huge save. Egun Zapico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 80th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Mehmet Hakkı Kuthan. But to his dismay, Mehmet Hakkı Kuthan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Bora Oyum got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ronaldo Messi. The ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
