Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Club Ibiza's Bruno Fonso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rene Higuita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jenson Smith in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match USA got a corner. Club Ibiza's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Jacob May heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Cassius Byrne took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Higuita. Rene Higuita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rene Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Club Ibiza's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Rene Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Bruno Fonso made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Bruno Fonso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marco Day firmly grabbed it by the left post. 40 minutes into the game, Bruno Fonso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marco Day. Bruno Fonso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Rene Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 43rd minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rene Higuita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Club Ibiza's Rene Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 54th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, USA's Cassius Byrne made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rene Higuita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Ibiza's Loco Mønster was substituted for Ştefan Vornicescu. Club Ibiza's Rene Higuita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Club Ibiza from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Usuriaga in the 67th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. In the 69th minute of the game Raphael Moore made a throw-in which Jacob May played forward. Kazuo Koriotto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Alberto Usuriaga scored 3-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Club Ibiza's Jem Schab got a free kick in the 76th minute. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. USA made a substitution. In the 84th minute Alberto Usuriaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sam Campbell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Rene Higuita made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Kazuo Koriotto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Ibiza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. The Club Ibiza support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
