Aaron Zander's late challenge caught a Volvio Moreno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Abalos in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne Magnusson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Higinio Romano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Volvio Moreno's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Romano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Magnusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, Volvio Moreno's Rodolfo Abalos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Magnusson narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Igelström to make the kick off. Rodolfo Abalos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Magnusson having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Ströms Diamonds's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Abalos came free, but Arne Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Abalos in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne Magnusson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Jacobo Gaskon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute of the match Herman Lindberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anier Venceslao showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Ambrosio Mano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Arne Magnusson managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Volvio Moreno's Higinio Romano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Arne Magnusson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Volvio Moreno's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
