Karl-Oskar Odén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Geovani Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Oskar Odén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Halcones Azules booed when UD Fuerteventura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
