The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Curicó-Unido's Nicolas Davidovits got a free kick in the 6th minute. Ángel Folch was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Geovani Barral capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Geovani Barral really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Geovani Barral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ángel Folch having to make a save. Ángel Folch was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Platon Dorado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 13 minute of play. If Geovani Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovani Barral got free with Ángel Folch in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claris Quiroga scored 4-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ángel Folch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Curicó-Unido's Ángel Folch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Curicó-Unido from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Geovani Barral made a precise shot to the right of Ángel Folch. Curicó-Unido's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Geovani Barral took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Ángel Folch to make any attempt to save it. In the 30th minute, Geovani Barral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Fuerteventura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Ángel Folch was a little too slow when Geovani Barral got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 8-0. A hard shot 39 in the game by Geovani Barral from a close distance when the talented Ángel Folch managed to make a qualified save. Curicó-Unido's players were relieved. Sansón Atienza's late challenge caught a UD Fuerteventura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sansón Atienza helped the player get up and apologised. Sansón Atienza kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Geovani Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ángel Folch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovani Barral ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Curicó-Unido booed when UD Fuerteventura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovani Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claris Quiroga to make the kick off. Geovani Barral took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ángel Folch. Ángel Folch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Ángel Folch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ángel Folch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovani Barral's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claris Quiroga in the 58th minute of play forced Curicó-Unido's goalkeeper Ángel Folch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Curicó-Unido's Ángel Folch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Barral in the 59th minute of play. Arkadiusz Piatek charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arkadiusz Piatek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in UD Fuerteventura fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! UD Fuerteventura:s Lajos Révész showed great skill when he stopped Quintín Fedorov:s penalty. UD Fuerteventura's Geovani Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geovani Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ángel Folch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovani Barral ran back to his position shaking his head. UD Fuerteventura's Constancio Llinares quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Quintín Fedorov, made in the 72nd minute of the game. Ángel Folch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovani Barral's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geovani Barral in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ángel Folch saved Curicó-Unido from getting behind. After a rather tough play, UD Fuerteventura's Wiktor Pochorylo got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st match minute, UD Fuerteventura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Pochorylo to maneuver through the defense. Alonso Dietert was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Curicó-Unido's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Abdón Guerola took a quick shot and it went in 10-1 without a chance for Lajos Révész to make any attempt to save it. When UD Fuerteventura's Claris Quiroga in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curicó-Unido's goalie prevented a goal. The UD Fuerteventura fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when UD Fuerteventura's Claris Quiroga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 91 minutes into the match, Curicó-Unido's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Barral came free, but Ángel Folch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geovani Barral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wiktor Pochorylo kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. UD Fuerteventura walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
