Geovani Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Pelagius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovani Barral ran back to his position shaking his head. Reconquistense FC's Anacleto Norino got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Geovani Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Francisco Pelagius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Platon Dorado went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute Geovani Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. UD Fuerteventura were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Reconquistense FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Geovani Barral took the corner. Claris Quirogas short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Francisco Pelagius to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Claris Quiroga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Francisco Pelagius made a huge save. Basilio Quintero hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geovani Barral in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Pelagius saved Reconquistense FC from getting behind. The wind increased when Claris Quiroga made the kick off in the second half. UD Fuerteventura's Claris Quiroga quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Clodoveo Chinto, made in the 54th minute of the game.
