Pär Fridlund hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Cláudio Paiva notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Hudiksvalls United's Arne Almstedt. Arne Almstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferreira Lopes MZC's attentive Luka Beaugendre managed to snatch the ball when Pär Fridlund made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. If Cláudio Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Bertassi in the 39th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls United's goalkeeper Arne Almstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 58th minute, Hudiksvalls United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Herald Depauw fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 59 minutes, Cláudio Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferreira Lopes MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Dário Martins put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Arne Almstedt. 64 minutes into the match, Cláudio Paiva notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Hudiksvalls United's Arne Almstedt. Arne Almstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Hudiksvalls United's Arne Almstedt got control of the ball when Cláudio Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cláudio Paiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arne Almstedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cláudio Paiva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Arne Almstedt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Cláudio Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ferreira Lopes MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cláudio Paiva couldn't finish the play. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Cláudio Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls United's goalkeeper Arne Almstedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cláudio Paiva. Cláudio Paiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arne Almstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Herald Depauw quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pär Fridlund, made in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Dário Martins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ferreira Lopes MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Herald Depauw's late challenge caught a Hudiksvalls United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herald Depauw helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Ferreira Lopes MZC got a freekick which was hit by Herald Depauw. When the final whistle sounded Ferreira Lopes MZC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hudiksvalls United.
