With a little luck, Flamengo de San Blás's Sergio Peralta got control of the ball when Prudencio Rodas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Flamengo de San Blás's goalkeeper Sergio Peralta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Checa. Flamengo de San Blás were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Volvio Moreno's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Javier Bermudez took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Guillermo Calderón heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Gutierrez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Rocendo was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Volvio Moreno's goalkeeper Virgilio Rocendo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Remigio Santiago took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sergio Peralta. Flamengo de San Blás's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Flamengo de San Blás's Ulpiano Treviño got a free kick in the 88th minute. Sergio Peralta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Rodas in the 92nd minute of the match. Virgilio Rocendo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wiliam Lozano went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Baldomero Martinez hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Flamengo de San Blás supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Flamengo de San Blás would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
