The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hudiksvalls United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Salvino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls United's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Navarro came free, but Arne Almstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lázaro Navarro in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arne Almstedt saved Hudiksvalls United from getting behind. Halcones Azules's Lázaro Navarro managed to work through Hudiksvalls United's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Lázaro Navarro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Fausto Salvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Arne Almstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hudiksvalls United's Arne Almstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Salvadore in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Lázaro Navarro made a precise shot to the right of Arne Almstedt. Hudiksvalls United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Arne Almstedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Halcones Azules booed when Hudiksvalls United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Christoffersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arne Almstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lázaro Navarro's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Arne Almstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 65 played minutes Halcones Azules got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Ticho. Arne Almstedt came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Halcones Azules's Lázaro Navarro. But to his dismay, Lázaro Navarro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Halcones Azules's Donato Baleren was substituted for Abelardo Artizar. The crowd rose to their feet as Halcones Azules's Augusto Ticho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arne Almstedt. That made the score 0-7 after 81 minutes of play. Halcones Azules made a substitution. Feliberto Azubeli replaced Fausto Salvino. Feliberto Azubelis short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Arne Almstedt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Donato Baleren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arne Almstedt. That made the score 0-8 in the 90 minute of play. Halcones Azules's Feliberto Azubeli got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Halcones Azules played a much better game than Hudiksvalls United and deserved their victory. The Hudiksvalls United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
