After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 11th minute. Olivedals BK's Rikard Lägdin got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rikard Lägdin in the 19th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludvig Forsberg having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Olivedals BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Åke Målare to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Patricio Costa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fred Rolfsson, made in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 40th minute, Evert Stabbe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rikard Lägdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the game, Olivedals BK's Greger Josefsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 60 minutes of play, Olivedals BK's Evert Stabbe made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rikard Lägdin in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Olivedals BK were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martin Olofsson took the corner. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rikard Lägdin in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Greger Josefsson made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Rikard Lägdin came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Olivedals BK were awarded a corner. Martin Olofsson went to the cornerflag to take it. Martin Olofsson made a great header on Olivedals BK's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joachim Käller went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Camilo Gaos lost his temper 90 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Greger Josefsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Olivedals BK had played much better football throughout.
