Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After 2 played minutes Great Bulgaria got a freekick which was hit by Marko Dzhorinski. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Primitivo Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evtim Kalúpchiev struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Great Bulgaria. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Dzhorinski in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Great Bulgaria were awarded a corner. Evtim Kalúpchiev went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Evtim Kalúpchiev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jacobo Nores quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marko Dzhorinski in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Great Bulgaria's Dimo Bachovski got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Great Bulgaria's goalkeeper Trendafil Margin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Jaime Pardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Great Bulgaria the free kick. In the 23rd minute, Xavier Zoido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evtim Kalúpchiev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marko Dzhorinski struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. When Yanaki Peychinov fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Great Bulgaria's protests and gave Yanaki Peychinov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Yanaki Peychinov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Prokopi Pravchanski came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Great Bulgaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prokopi Pravchanski couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hector Covarrubias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Trendafil Margin. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. When Hector Covarrubias came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Covarrubias couldn't finish the play. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Great Bulgaria's Evtim Kalúpchiev. But to his dismay, Evtim Kalúpchiev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Evtim Kalúpchiev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Great Bulgaria's supporters rose to their feet, but Evtim Kalúpchiev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trendafil Margin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector Covarrubias went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Trendafil Margin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 57th minute of play. Marko Dzhorinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute of the match Primitivo Escribano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Trendafil Margin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Great Bulgaria's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trendafil Margin came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Primitivo Escribano came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Escribano couldn't finish the play. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Trendafil Margin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Emil Marinchev in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trendafil Margin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 94th minute of play forced Great Bulgaria's goalkeeper Trendafil Margin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paraguay walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
