Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knut Collin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. The long shot by Oscar Haraldsson in the 14th minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rikard Nyqvist got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. A hard shot 21 in the game by Alfons Stål from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Alfons Stål tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Bondeträsk FC's Knut Collin. But to his dismay, Knut Collin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Bondeträsk FC's Oscar Haraldsson got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leo Björling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Anton Grep hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Alfons Stål took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Leo Björling stood somewhat misplaced when Tomas Illescas came free in front of goal and shot 4-2 to the left of him in the 59 minute. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Leo Björling to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Knut Collin kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Björling read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Åke Granqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bondeträsk FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. In the 73rd match minute, Bondeträsk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Granqvist to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Tomas Illescas in the 74th minute really tested Leo Björling's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Venezuela's attentive Alex Chicote managed to snatch the ball when Anton Grep made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. Tomas Illescas came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leo Björling could save by the left post. If Knut Collin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Bondeträsk FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Leo Björling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bondeträsk FC.
