Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naim Ökmen in the 5th minute of play. After 7 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Joel Gaona. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naim Ökmen in the 8th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oğuzhan Er took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mecnun Eslem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Cappadocia FC's Yalçın Dilsuz got a free kick in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sarper Cesman. In the 21st minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oğuzhan Er was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mirkelam Tükelalp hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Cappadocia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Oğuzhan Er reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oğuzhan Er showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 39th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Oğuzhan Er. Cappadocia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Cappadocia FC's Oğuzhan Er played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 41st minute of play. After 42 minutes, Rıfat Erdem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cappadocia FC and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes Cappadocia FC got a freekick which was hit by Rıfat Erdem. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oğuzhan Er, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Oğuzhan Er made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mecnun Eslem, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Cappadocia FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 60th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oğuzhan Er saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naim Ökmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Alberto Tafalla fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Oğuzhan Er, passed just outside the right post. Oğuzhan Er was a little too slow when Luca Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-4. Cappadocia FC's Oğuzhan Er proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Cappadocia FC from getting a goal against them.
