Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Melchor Maule started the match with the kick off. Jesus Reno kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Artemio Salvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. Melchor Maules short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artemio Salvino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Artemio Salvino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melchor Maule in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artemio Salvino. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Saelices was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Artemio Salvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gabriel Hauche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Teɱperłey Cɨŧy getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Carlos Piarres hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Saelices was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artemio Salvino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Artemio Salvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artemio Salvino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Maule, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Angelo Luzaide was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Teɱperłey Cɨŧy got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Reno. Artemio Salvino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Andino in the 55th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Luis Andino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Artemio Salvino. Luis Andino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy made a substitution. John Petrucci replaced Gabriel Hauche. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Rafael Gonza was substituted for Eustacio Aires. Artemio Salvino made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th match minute, Teɱperłey Cɨŧy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Lizar to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Artemio Salvino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Artemio Salvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Armando Lizar kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artemio Salvino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Artemio Salvino in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Teɱperłey Cɨŧy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter White didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Teɱperłey Cɨŧy getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Armando Lizar hit a great ball. When Melchor Maule fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's protests and gave Melchor Maule a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Melchor Maule hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's goalkeeper Artemio Salvino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Eyague during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonas Eyague kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Teɱperłey Cɨŧy.
