In the 25th minute of the game Moises Tafalla made a throw-in which Edmundo Espiga played forward. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Herminio Luke successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edmundo Espiga had several of the Dunamis's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Herminio Luke as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 32ndth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dunamis's Herminio Luke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Luca Espinar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Herminio Luke. That made the score 5-0 in the 33 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herminio Luke saved Dunamis from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 13-0 from a short distance just to the right of Herminio Luke. In the 97th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Luke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
