Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Ree made the kick off which started today's match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Rikki Askhim sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristen Gulskov having to interfere. Monks in Robes's Kristen Gulskov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Monks in Robes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Cristian Sancho to fire away a dangerous shot which Kristen Gulskov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristen Gulskov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felix Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristen Gulskov having to make a save. 26 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Kristen Gulskov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Ree's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albinus Alking in the 29th minute of the match. Malcolm Mattsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albinus Alking in the 43rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 64th minute, Axel Ree left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monks in Robes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Monks in Robes's Kristen Gulskov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 69th minute of play. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Ree's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Kristen Gulskov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Ree in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kristen Gulskov. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After 88 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. After a defensive mix-up in Monks in Robes's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristen Gulskov came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
